What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MA / CA

Hi, I had a capital loss carryover on my 2008 tax returns, however that year I filed in MA and now I live in CA.

In filling out my taxes for 2009, TurboTax asks for a specific line on my CA 540 Schedule D for "California Capital Loss Carryover"...

Can I use numbers from my MA return from last year, or am I just out of luck and lose out on the state carryover because I moved?

Thanks,
