Child Tax CreditWhat is the name of your state? Georgia Hopefully someone can answer my question. My ex husband and I each get to claim our daughter as a dependant every other tax year. My ex claimed her last year 2002 so does that mean that I will not recieve the tax credit this year since it was his year to claim her? I get to claim her for the 2003 tax year so i'm assuming the credit will go to him and I will get nothing? Just curious. Thanks! |

| The credit will go to you when you file your return, but the advance check will probably go to him & he'll end up paying it back through increased taxes.
