Can a collection company take your tax return if you are a cosigner? Would they have to take from the primary first?

My response:

Nope. The creditor can go after you if the primary fails to pay. The creditor can go after you because you're the co-signer, and can go after the money where it's easiest to obtain - - and that's you, baby.

See? That's what it means to be a co-signer (another word for screwing yourself)

Attach primary first

Would the collection comp. be required to attach the primary first?
