Company Charging For W-2

Can a company legally charge you for a W-2. I moved 3 wks ago and put a forward to my new address. I have recieved everything else but this one company is trying to charge me to release my W-2. Can they really do this with a legal document?

That is illegal. Visit you local IRS office & ask the person to call the company & inform them that they must send out a W-2 by 1/31 or face a $50 fine.

While the company cannot charge you for your ORIGINAL W2, if they have already mailed it to you, they are allowed to charge you for a replacement.
