consignment incomeWhat is the name of your state? Virginia As a consignment shop am I legally bound to 1099 my consignors. Can or are they considered independant contractors. And is their a difference whether you are for profit or non-profit. Last edited by bcounts; 01-02-2003 at 04:50 PM. |

| You are if you want to be able to declare the consignments you pay as a business expense. Anyone who gets over $600/year should get a 1099-MISC.
