What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Utah
I currently work as a salaried employee and I also have a small business that I run. I am considering converting my status with my employer from employee to subcontractor and having my employer pay my LLC rather than me personally. Can I do this?

This isn't really a tax question. However...

This isn't your choice to make.

If you are currently an employee, and continue doing the same work in the same manner, then you will remain an employee. The employer cannot legally NOT pay you.
