the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

What are the requirments to deduct a boat as a second home? I have friends who do this but no two give me the same answer. What does the boat need to qualify as a second home?

Thanks in advance.

Sleeping, cooking, and toilet facilities is how the IRS describes it. It can be a boat, camper, or RV. If you don't rent it out to anybody else, you don't even have to live in it at all to designated it as the second home.
