Deductions or Adjustment

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? I'm in TN....In a divorce I was ordered to pay alimony. That in an adjustment to income. I was also ordered to pay 5K to her for her lawyer fees. Can that go to adjustment or deduction or nothing?

The lawyer fees go to nothing..the are not deductible.
