What is the name of your state? missouri
my request is simple..i have a 16 yr old daughter (just turned jan 5) and she has lived with us all year,, dose not work (hell barley dose anything) can i still claim her on my taxes as a dependant

You can claim her on your taxes regardless of income through age 18.

After that you can claim her regardless of income, provided she is a full time student, through age 24.

You can also claim her, regardless of age, any year in which she earns less than the exemption amount. (This year it's $3100 per person).
