During my divorce the judge ordered that each of us My ex and I) claim a child as a dependent for tax purposes. My ex is now saying that he is going to claim both kids as dependents. He did have them for more then 6 months this year. But prior years he did not and we still each claimed one child. He says that tax law supersedes the judges order. Is he correct?
