do i have to file tax on ssWhat is the name of your state?missouri ok heres the deal ... i am disabled and i get ss my daughter also gets ss because she is under age and a dep of mine full time....so do i have to file taxes on the ss we make around 11 hundred a month.... now the tricky part is i am married and my husband claims us as dependants and we get the eic credit and so on .. do i have to claim my ss on his tax papers or do i have to be seperate ... also what if i dont claim my ss at all ????? well if you can desifer this please give me some feed back ...thanks ![]() |

| You file jointly with your husband, and you include your SS income, but not your daughter's. If your income is such that you get EIC, likely none of the SS will be taxable, but you should do the calculations anyway, to make sure. If you are married and your income is below $32,000, for both of you combined, none of your SS will be taxable. Snipes
