Do I Have To Use My Real Name? What is the name of your state? TEXAS Ok, I realize the subject line might be misleading, but I didn't know any other way to phrase it. I hire out people to do a service. I operate under a Sole Proprietor company name. For example: ABC Company. I am obviuosly required to send a 1099 form to the people I hire (amounts are over $600) Is there a way to do what is required without sending them my actual name? In other words, I would like for them to not see "John Smith DBA ABC Company" but to just see ABC Company. The reason for this is because of the extreme competative nature of my business. Thanks!! |
