I earn my living off of consulting work in foreign countries, plus the sale of information products over the Internet. I will be relocating to a foreign country and understand the residency requirements to qualify for the foreign earned income exclusion.

One question I have regards that part of my income from the Internet sales. About 80% of my Internet sales will come from U.S.-based customers, who will buy from me while I am residing on the other side of the world.

Does this portion of my income qualify for the foreign earned income exclusion, or because it is from Americans who reside in the U.S., would it not qualify?

Thanks.
