I am married, but seperated, I always qualify for the EIC when I file, I am low income. If we file married, file seperate do I still qualify for the EIC. I would rather not file with him, he has no W-2s only I do, but we do have children to file for. I was thinking the EIC is usually a decent amout of refund and could really use the money to get into a larger apartment.

If you are truly separated, and have been separated for
at least the last six months of 2006 then you could legitimately file as unmarried.
However, if you have not been separated that long, then your only choices are married filing jointly, or married filing separately, and if you file separately, you are not eligible for EIC.
