EITC Question

What is the name of your state? Michigan. My girlfriend and myself live together and have one child. I just barely qualify for EITC and my girlfriend only made a couple thousand dollars. What is my best option to maximize our tax refunds? Thanks for the help!!!

It would be appropriate for you to claim head of household and claim your child for all tax purposes, if you have the higher income.
