| Your daughter qualifies as your dependent as long as she is a full-time student for 5 months (Jan - May) during 2004 AND you pay over 1/2 her total support during the entire year. Support includes tuition, housing, clothes, etc. Any money she earns in 2004 & does not save is considered to be money she spent on her own support. You probably won't know if you can claim her until later this year. In the mean time, start saving $100 a month in case you can't claim her. That way you'll have the money to pay in April if you owe.
