I am engaged to be married in May. My fiancee is having his checks put into my account because I am better at money managment. Will his payroll be counted on my income tax? How is this handled? Thank you.

No, his income will not be included with yours for income tax purposes. Just because his money goes into your bank account doesn't make it taxable income for you.

However, once you get married you will most likely want to file a joint tax return, and in that case of course, it would be included with yours.

Make sure you keep track of the money in case you are audited. One audit technique is doing a basic "T" where income is on one side and expenses on the other. They would then ask you about the extra income. From your facts, you are not taxed on it, but you might have to explain it.
