What is the name of your state?
NY

I came to USA on F1 status in August, 2001. Since then I was on F1 status until October 2004 when my status changed to H1B. All these years I have been filing the 1040NR-EZ (Federal), IT-203-B (NY) & Form 8843 (Exempt from the Substantial test as a student). Now I don't know if I qualify as a non-resident alien for last year tax filing. Could some please help me here? Or if someone has gone through the same phase, could they please share their information/experience?

Thank you,
Deepak
