filing federal back taxesWhat is the name of your state? Texas I need to file federal taxes for 2001 and 2002. I have a W2 and a 1099 for 2001, and just a 1099 for 2002. I need to know how to go about filing. Which tax forms do I use? Do I use seperate forms for each year I need to file? Do I use 2003 tax forms? Basically I need someone to tell me exactly how to do this. Thanks, Ash |

| Go to a tax preparer. Expect it to take at least 2 visits. You will be filing a Schedule C, and it's obvious from your question that you are not familiar with what is required. You don't know what to deduct, how to do depreciation, etc. A good tax preparer will save you more than s/he costs.
