Filing gift tax formsWhat is the name of your state? NJ My mother (who was a non US resident at the time of gifting and lived abroad) gave me a present of $20,000. Later that year she moved to the US and became a permanent resident. Does she have to file gift tax forms in excess of $11,000 now? |
