What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? new hampshire
I been seperated 10 yrs now...i always file single ..I just found out that im not suppose to..how am i suppose to file**************

See IRS Publication 501. That explains who is considered married or not for tax purposes, even if you do not have a legal separation.

Perhaps it is time to bite the bullet and get a divorce...which would resolve your tax issues.
