I have a California resident that made approx $20k in Italy and paid $7k in tax in Italy. This person is self employed.
Should I report this income on the schedule C? Where can I take this tax as a payment against tax liability in the US?

You're a CPA preparing a tax return and DON'T know how to deal with this? Might I suggest sticking to financial statements and finding a partner who does know individual tax?
