getting in deeper & deeper

I became disabled in 2001. In 2002 I opened a business that I thought would provide me with some additional income. I poured my life savings and took a second mortgage on my house to buy the business. The business was forclosed in 2007. The last 2 years I was open I did not pay some taxes due to cash flow.

I filed personal bankrupcy after losing the business and have also lost my home. I am in a difficult situation as I collect social security disability and do not have funds to pay for some help.

The IRS and state are demanding payment and ignoring the problem is not working.

I live in Michigan. Does anyone know of an agency or orginization that could help me?

Thanks.

How much money do you owe? What kind of taxes were they that you did not pay?
