Question

getting divorced do I file taxes as single or married

I've only been married a year. I've still been claiming myself as single throughout the year.
Should I file my taxes as single or as married. Can my husband come back later on down the road and want half of my refund? I live in California. Please advise as I'm ready to
file my taxes now. Thank you
