Green Card Revoked, Must I file taxes? What is the name of your state? California We moved from California to Switzerland 9 years ago (1998). My swedish wife lost her green card and was unable to get another issued since we had no US address where a new one could be sent. When traveling through London in 2002, the BA gate people asked to see her green card, told them it had been lost, and they contacted the US Embassy and forced us to sign a form that revoked her green card (she then traveled under a tourist visa to the states). We heard that green card holders must continue to file US taxes for a specific time after they have given up their card...is this accurate? There's alot more to this story...but let's start simply. ThanksWhat is the name of your state? |

__________________ There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution). Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport! |
