Help! Filing Taxes .....Is there a way I can file my taxes other than sole proprietor? Can I file as an employee to my company and not pay as much penalties?Thanks for all your help. I live in California. Last edited by KimLien; 08-15-2001 at 04:21 AM. |

| If you are the sole owner of the business, you are required to file as a sole proprietor unless you incorporate the business or convert it into a Limited Liability Company. However, your taxes or penalties would not decrease if you did that. In fact, the taxes would increase somewhat. |
