If you forgot to take the Hope Tax credit, can you amend your previous years returns?

What is the name of your state? NC

If you were eligible for the Hope tax credit a few years back but forgot to take it, can you go back and amend your previous returns? How far back can you go?

Yes, you certainly can. The years that are still able to be amended are 2003, 2004 and 2005.

Your two separate questions on this forum indicate that you may be dealing with a situation that is more complicated than you realize. If you tell your entire story, you may get better advice. You do not need to open another thread to do so. You can simply use one of your existing threads.
