i live in morgantownship in indiana i moved here in 1997 and purchased a home. i now have received a notice telling me that my property and house is going to be sold for taxes due from back in 1990?, i had no idea that the taxes were not paid then..can they do this to me?
i have paid my taxes on time every year. i did not own the home and thought that the abstractor would have found that if that was the case. secondly the morgan township is about 20 to 30 years behind still writing who owns what in a book |
