What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? I live in north Carolina once this form has been sent to report. The improper use of an exemption how long does the investigation take !7

Is this a North Carolina form?...because its not an IRS form. Only someone who practises in NC could answer that question.

Actually, it's an internal IRS form "referral report" that they use during investigations to communicate between departments. Since the form is used for a variety of things, you'll have to tell us what it is being referred (are you being audited, are you trying to get innocent spouse determination, etc..).
