What is the name of your state? FL

I really need some help. New husband of 3 yrs. has not paid taxes for 12. We are in the middle of having a home built and a lien showed on his credit report from irs for 92 and 93. After further review we see it has 12 yrs. attached to it. How can we keep the home we are building and have already invested approx. $27K into. I really need some help. please.

You need a tax attorney or an Enrollled Agent. An EA will be cheaper.

Do not attempt this on your own.

Also, if you have anything with both your names on it, separate all of it immediately. Do not have any joint anything with him until this is settled.

If you mix your funds with his, they will take yours too.
