Law postings drop off before responses are given

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
This has been questioned before, both here and on the technical forum, but no answer was given in either place.

My posting dropped off the list that appears automatically before I received any response. I had to manually search for my original post, which means my chances for getting an answer are diminished. When I go to the other forums I see postings listed for weeks before they drop off.

Is there a way to increase the number of postings that appear automatically so that they don't drop off so quickly?

Please let me know.

You should receive an email notice when responses are posted. If not, then I suggest you bookmark your thread.

These forums are so busy that it would be impossible to keep everything on the front page for any longer than it stays now. It doesn't drop off, it just moves to the second page, then to the third etc.

If postings are listed for weeks on other forums before the move past the first page, then those forums are not busy ones.

Thank you for your responses.

I apologize if I'm not making myself clear. I'm not suggesting to keep everything on the front page. I know that the postings drop off the first page but move to subsequent pages.

I'll try to clarify what I mean:

1) How can the Tax forum be configured to retain 15 responses on the first page, like the other forums, including busy ones?

2) Why are they moving to the second page when there are so few on the first page?

I'm not having a problem locating responses. There are sometimes NO responses to postings that drop to the 2nd page because they're not seen as readily.

So far, I have been given no reason why they are moving to the 2nd page when there are so few on the first page.

Please let me know.
