marriage and filing single?

What is the name of your state? NJ now/ VT for college
I am marrying my girlfriend and we have no kids and i want to know if i can file as a single, because my parents do my taxes and don't want them knowing just yet.

Nope.

Your filing options are Married Filing a Joint Return, and Married Filing a Separate Return.
