I turn 70 and a half in 2005 and have IRA's and a 401k.

I know I read somewhere that "some" 401k's can be treated as traditional IRA's. I was hopping that someone would confirm this and maybe define "some".

Might it mean that I can lump them together to calculate a minimum distribution and take it from either an IRA or the 401k?
