Louisiana just sent me a tax notice for 1996 taxes. I have always been current. $3000 taxes, $8000 penalties. What is the statuate of limitations? I have dealt with La on other matters and this has not come up. I live in Arkansas now. They turned it over to a collection agency. Can they collect?
