My non-profit, which is a has tax exempt status with the IRS is looking to start partnering with an international non-profit organization. I am unsure of the law in this area and just wanted to get an idea of things I should be aware off. I read on some sites that I have to check with the Department of Treasury before I can start donating some of my charities resources to a non-profit in another country. Does anyone know what the regulations are in this area and what laws I should look at specifically?
