What is the name of your state? Rhode Island
At 23 yrs old with a live in girlfriend of 1 1/2 years who is 26 years old. Can she be claimed as my dependant since she doesn't work?

As long as she didn't make over $3100, you provided over 50 percent of her support, and she lived with you all of 2004, you can claim her as a dependent. She will not qualify you for HOH though, because a distant relative or nonrelative doesn't qualify.
