What is the name of your state?tn

Last year me and my two sisters recieved our fathers house as a gift that was sold and split equally. Ive been sitting here waiting on her to find out all the original info we needed to file it on our taxes. So I went ahead and filed my taxes without reporting it this year. If I report the sale next year, what kind of penalty will there be?

You'll have two years of incorrect tax returns, instead of just one.

Contact the title company to find out if you should be expecting a 1099-S.
