Washington.

My tax refund for 2005 is being withheld for the past years when I filed jointly with my ex-husband. I am sure he is not paying any of it since my whole refund goes toward this debt.
How do I make him pay a half of this amount?

What does your divorce decree say regarding the tax debt?

Your question really isn't a tax question. The IRS is going to take the money from wherever they can get it. You have to go after your ex either via your divorce degree or on some other civil level.
