What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? GA

My husband's mother died mid-year. She had a few bank accounts with him listed as POD beneficiary. We went and closed these accounts and opened another account in his name after the first of the year. When we got our tax 1099-INT statements, they were in her name, with him as POD. They have her ssnumber. Do we add them to our tax return as is or do we need them reissued with his ssnumber or do we not include them at all? Her estate was very small and she had not needed to file a tax return for several years, since this and soc security was her only income.

If she needed to file a tax return you would include them on her final tax return. However, apparently it is not necessary to file a return for her.
