Prevent Separated Wife from Filing Joint

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Michigan

Wife moved to GA and left me and kids 2 weeks ago. I am concerned that she will filie our taxes and have refund sent directly to her. How can I prevent this from happening?

Does she have the necessary information to file a joint return? You cannot prevent her from doing anything. All you can do is file your our taxes as married filing separately, and claim what youare entitled to claim.
