    Property transfer in divirce

What is the name of your state? Illinois

In negotiating a divorce degree, that was entered in January 2002, the marital property was transferred to my ex wife. There was approximately $260,000.00 equity in the home. There was no offsetting transfer of worth from her to me.

Can this property transfer from me to her be considered a loss or be deductible in anyway?
