| I recently filed my 2000 Federal tax return, and have already received my refund, but realized that I did not deduct about $400 in student loan interest payments. Can I file an ammended return, and if so, what form would I use? Thanks. |

Amended returnYes, you can file an amended return to take the deduction. Use Form 1040X. You can download the form at http://www.irs.ustreas.gov/forms_pubs/index.html |
