Real Estate Excise Tax (2nd post)

What is the name of your state? Washington


I bought a new home in 2004. With the new law allowing sales tax deduction can I deduct the real estate excise tax? If so under what section do I deduct it?

Deduct Real Estate Excise Tax?

I am wondering the same thing. I paid a real estate excise tax in washington state. Can I deduct it and where?
