| I sold income property last year in new york state and sold it for a substantial loss. Bought in 89- $64,000, sold in 2000- $30,000. I owed $35,000 to bank which gave me a signature loan for balance. What are my capital losses that I can claim for taxes, and can I deduct interest payment from new loan? Thank you for your help! |
