Separated / Husband filed federal without my knowledge

What is the name of your state? AZ

Oops - don't know where this message went on this board as it is gone......Have found out that he did file a "Married - Joint" return with 2 exemptions. Direct deposit refund from IRS - so I assume that the Stimulus refund will also be direct deposit. I'm just watching the account to withdraw my $600 when it arrives. However - what dept. of the IRS do I go to about him filing without my knowledge, signature? Thanks. What is the name of your state?

Bwahhahahahahaa!!

So it's okay that he filed so that YOU could get YOUR $600.

It's just not okay that he filed.

weren't all of the direct deposits made by May 16th anyway??? (stimulus deposits)

The ones that were connected to returns that were filed on time, were all made by May 16th. But if anyone filed their return late, then their stimulous rebate will also be late.

I'm not crying about it -

Thanks for the info. without the smart response. I am disabled, he left me at home (he's a trucker) for 32 days without accomodations to get food, no heat (utilities are not paid -house is foreclosed on) vehicle rotting in front yard-doesn't run just for starters. He has not filed a tax return for 5 years, and all of a sudden this year he is going to file so he can reap the $1200. Since I've left him, I get a whole $195 a month - trying to get my SSI reinstated, which I lost when he would work one month, quit, not work, work....have medical benefits, lose medical benefits, just enough to make me ineligible. Through family members they have paid my way to leave him, support me while we work through these agencies. So yes, I am going to make a big deal of getting the $600 I made him eligible for. It's been enough of an embarrassment, humilation to admit to my family what has happened but I had to leave.
