After my father passed away in 87 my older sister made my mother take out a equity link on her home with my sister as a co-borrower and in total control of the account.She also forced my mom to have joint bank account with here so who knows if she used my mother's earnings to pay the loan.
Over the years my sister only paid off the interest and has claimed all of the interest on her returns until my mother passed in 99.
Could my sister legally claim the interest on a loan on a house she did not own?
