sister claiming my childWhat is the name of your state? Georgia I was wondering if I can let my sister claim my son as her dependant??? I have lived with my older sister since our parnets pasted away 2 years ago. I have not worked this year. She has helped me take care of him. I am also only 17 can she also claim me? thank you for your help. |

| I'm not an attorney, but my understanding of the current tax codes is that "YES" your sister could claim both you and your child since you are under age and have not worked and had no income. If you lived with her the whole year. |
