    Question spouse deceased

What is the name of your state?MS
My wife passed away in April, 2004. She had a managerial position before her death. Due to medical malpractice litigation her estate is not yet settled. Am I required to include her earned income (wages) on my federal tax return and if so what is the best category i.e., married filing jointly, married filing seperately, etc.?

Yes, you should include income earned before her death. File MFJ.
