What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? ct I am on SSDI and must resign from my employees workforce my question is this: I may be rolling over my 401k to an Roth IRA know I have a time limit on when I must roll it over but if I use you some of these funds to pay off some debts what will this amount be taxed as and what will SSDI consider it to be? New to all this and it is confusing??? also is this considered income according to SSDI?

Rollovers won't affect SSDI. In fact even if you were stupid enough to take an early distribution (paying the tax) it wouldn't count against your SSDI either.

SSI is another story.
