My Co-worker left her husband in Oct. 2003. She had been the one supporting the household. She left all belongings and the House to him and the kids and she continued to put money into his account unitl he found a job. For tax time they had both agreed to each claim one child (they have two children together). When my friend tried to claim her daughter at tax time she found out that the husband had claimed both children behind her back. The husband refused to share any of the money with her. Can she do anything to get back her part of the money, or sue for fraud? Thanks in advance!!!

No, there is nothing she can do. She is the one who left. Next time tell her to get any agreements in writing, and if the guy is a dirtbag, don't give him free money.
